With about 7,600 stores across the United States, the leader in pharmacy chains has announced that it is going to remove its cigarettes and other tobacco products off of its shelves come October. 1st. The CEO, Larry J. Merlo, discussed this past couple of days that by removing these deadly products it will, "further distinguish us in how we are serving our patients, clients, and health care providers ..." Even President Obama has announced his positive opinion on the new change. I believe that it is a great way to move forward on the fight against cancer, as well as our world's non stop path towards healthy living.
